Come to Be a Spelling Star, Enjoy a Different Children’s Day!

2017 “Spelling Star” National High School and Primary School English Spelling Competition Is in Progress

Well, there is less than half a month left till the children’s anniversary — Children’s Day!

It is a happy day for children, but, about parents, it is a busy day.

Dear parents, except for travelling, playing and shopping with your kids, 

you can take them to Unibridge to take part in the “Spelling Star” Competition.

Dear boys and girls, hope you can test yourselves on vocabulary and show your great courage in this competition.

 Have a meaningful Children’s Day with learning and growth!

1. Procedures & Time:

The competition has three main rounds:

(1) Qualification round in Sheyang Region is from the 25th to the 26th of May.

(2) Semi-Final in Sheyang Region is at 17:30 on May 31th.

(3) Final in Sheyang Region is at 9:00 a.m. on June 4th.

2. School Categories:

All the participants are divided into four categories:

Group A: Students in Grade 1 ~ 2

Group B: Students in Grade 3 ~ 4

Group C: Students in Grade 5 ~ 6

Group D: Junior and Senior High School Students

3. References

The references for this competition are the series books Young Learner’s Vocabulary Builder (Level 1~10). The first and second editions are both fit for the competition. The following basic levels of each group are only for suggestion:

The basic level of group A is Level 1~2.

The basic level of group B is Level 2~3.

The basic level of group C is Level 3~4.

The basic level of group D is Level 4~6.

According to actual conditions, it is allowed that some words may be beyond the basic level.

4. Charge

Each participant pays ¥ 50 for qualifying round in Shenyang Region, and there’s no more payment in the semi-final and the final.

5. Ways of Participation

Participants can sign up at the reception of any branch of Unibridge International Education.

6. Awards

(1) The top 3 in each group are awarded champion, runner-up, third-place, and some participants are awarded the first prize. Each prize winner can be given a trophy, a certificate and a gift.

(2) Some participants in each group can be awarded the second or the third prize with a certificate and a gift.

(3) Some participants in each group can be awarded excellent prize with a certificate and a gift.
