WHAT IS CHINESE POETRY AND WRITING?
Based on Chinese traditional literature, the Senior Education and Teaching Research Academy (SETRA) has compiled a series of textbooks entitled Poetic Composition and auxiliary materials on the writing process for school pupils, which will be applied to typical Chinese language teaching especially on writing. These works are scheduled to be published and released nationwide this year. Starting from poems, Poetic Composition has a strong focus on cultivating the ability of situation description and imagination. With an emphasis on expressing students’ true feelings in their writing, Poetic Composition have laid the foundation for their writing with high-quality content.
