Education Bureau Officials of Heping District Paid a Visit to UBE

 On July 17th, 2018, officials of Education Bureau of Heping District, Shenyang City, together with reporters of Shenyang Radio and TV paid a visit to UBE Heping Branch School. The visit aimed to develop educational programs in a healthy and orderly way ,and to do the publicity on how to choose a reliable and high-quality educational institution taking UBE as an example.

To further implement Education Law of the People's Republic of China, Non-state Education Promotion Law of the People's Republic of China, and Notice of the Four Departments of the General Office of the Ministry of Education on Effectively Reducing the Extracurricular Burden of Primary and Secondary School Students and Carrying out Special Governance Actions for After-School Training Institutions, Education Bureau of Heping District launched “Non-state Education Promotion Law Awareness Week” with the theme of regulating behaviour of educational institution and ensure healthy development for the youth.

UBE receives high reputation because of its effective teaching and experienced teachers who have successfully cultivated numerous elite students excellent in both Chinese and English and thus were appointed as the representative of 272 legal private educational institutions for government inspection. Through the broadcast by Shenyang Radio and TV, some must-have qualites and conditions for educational institutions were shown to parents, which might be helpful for parents and students to identify what a legal institution should be and make the right decision for children’s education.

 

 

UBE has been leading the teaching quality as it presented the better teaching results than the rest. With all these years’ efforts, there are students in UBE who have been enrolled in world-class university, such as Cambridge, UCL in England, Dartmouth in the US and Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and others who have entered famous boarding high school in England with full or half-fee scholarships.

UBE students also achieved surprising grades in a series of national English competitions, including “the 21st Century Cup English Competition” hosted by China Daily and 21st Century English Newspaper, “Star of Outlook” English Talent Competition organized by CCTV and “New Concept English Competition” carried out by Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press. Among them are winners of the first prize, second prize and third prize of national competitions and the first place and second place holders in the High School Entrance Exam of Shenyang.

Currently, UBE has 7 Chinese-English Basic Level Language Schools, 1 International Education Department, 1 Research Academy (SETRA) and 1 National Project Department. Cooperating with 33 private middle schools in the UK, UBE has now become the biggest institution in China with regard to the communication between middle schools in China and the UK.
