Ji Ying, a notable English teacher in China, summarizes, explores and invents “Main-line and Main-object (DMA) Teaching Approach” in front-line teaching. New Concept English online senior teaching and research course covers three modules, twenty-one periods, a total of 60-hour courses. The course highlights two features: international frontier and professional practicability. It compacts the concept and teaching methods of American and British senior international teaching and research, and combines effectively with Chinese local English class teaching. During the course, some useful information and rich experience for teaching and research from senior teacher teams will be shared. The three modules of New Concept English online senior teaching training are: teaching appoach, teaching practice, and teaching highlights of New Concept English. The module of teaching approach includes Main-line and Main-object (DMA) Teaching Approach, and the “3P teaching method”, essence of Cambridge University English teacher training courses. The module of teaching practice is established in front-line teaching, which contains phonetics teaching, vocabulary teaching, sentence structure teaching, tense teaching and class activity teaching. The last module includes four units: to analyze all lessons of New Concept English, to extract the essence of each lesson, to explain difficult points, to organize interactive classroom activities and diversified after-class exercise.
